This will give the product a nice sleek matte black finishing look that will not chip or flake or deteriorate, can be applied to any Nitrideable part of your firearm.
Pro Wear: A gas diffusion process that guarantees double the life of a standard barrel with about 10,000 rounds. Pro wear improves resistance to corrosion as well as fatigue resistance to the barrel. This is a nice alternative to Salt Bath, QPQ, or even Chrome plating due to the fact it is environmentally safe and low risk. Lower temperature allows barrels, Barrel extensions, slides and other firearm parts to have a longer and stronger shooting life while making them more accurate and dependable. Pro wear has two different finishes to protect the product and allow better lubricated abrasion resistance:
Pro Wear I: combines the properties of high corrosion resistance, excellent emulsification characteristics and low toxicity.
Pro Wear II: Cleans, lubricates, and preserves the life of the metal. Breaks loose oil and grime, reduces friction and stops build-up of foreign matter, shields metal from corrosion and rust.
Duo- Phase: One of the newest and longest lasting cycles to apply to your firearms barrel. This will allow your firearms barrel to last upwards of 20,000 rounds. Very popular in a military requirement. Improves mechanical properties, enhance barrel ID surface/rifling properties. Duo- Phase improves accuracy, barrel life and muzzle velocity.
